The University College of Business (UCB) hosted a delegation from the Chinese Embassy in Albania, led by Mr. Huang Xuehu, Minister Counselor, along with ten other diplomats.
The delegation participated in a masterclass and discussion titled: “Diplomacy Meets Economics: Shaping International Connectivity.”
The event, attended by nearly 100 participants, brought together UCB academic staff, current and former students, and other interested parties in the field.
It provided a rare opportunity for attendees to engage directly with Chinese diplomats in Albania, gain insights into China’s development and modernization strategies, and interact meaningfully with one another.
Following the Embassy representatives’ presentation, the guests and participants engaged in a lively, in-depth, and fruitful discussion on current events, economic development, China-Albania relations, and possibilities for academic collaboration.
At the conclusion of the masterclass, the head of the delegation met with UCB Rector Prof. Dr. Ylber Bezo, Vice Rector, General Secretary, and the university deans. During this meeting, the parties exchanged views on their respective realities and explored potential avenues for advancing academic cooperation in the future.
